Unusual 1940's Bicycle Movies from Europe

iPod Version

This was found at YouTube. Not sure the details of the video since it was posted in a language I can't seem to translate. But check out all the trick bikes, recumbents, and interesting competitions.

I especially like the tandem with trailer races. There are some definitely fun but long lost ideas that could be introduced to the 21st Century.

Fabulous!
I am so excited seeing all those strange bikes on such an old footage. It's all been here before. How that come that so many people still use cars?
And I also like hearing my mother tongue from your channel, it's kind of unusual.

You understand commentator? I'd love to know what they are saying. I'm not even sure the language or location.

That's it, I have to build a trailer (chariot) for my tandem! Sounds like possibly Polish or Czech to me.
